Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation & Weather Policy Reservation Policy A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your equipment, tour, rental, or reservation date. The remaining balance is due prior to the start of services unless otherwise approved by management. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled reservation may be eligible for a credit or reschedule at management discretion. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation are non-refundable, including deposits. No-shows are non-refundable. Weather Policy Guest safety is our priority. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, lightning, high winds, dangerous surf, or other conditions determined unsafe by management, reservations will be rescheduled to another available date. Matt’s Beach Shack and management reserve the right to determine whether weather conditions are unsafe for operations. Refunds will not be issued due to weather-related interruptions, delays, or closures. Guests will instead receive a rescheduled booking or account credit toward a future reservation. Rescheduling Policy Guests may request to reschedule based on availability. Management approval is required for all reschedule requests. Management Rights Matt’s Beach Shack reserves the right to refuse service, modify operations due to safety concerns, and make final determinations regarding cancellations, weather delays, and operational conditions.

We deliver the kayak directly to your **home, vacation rental, condo, or approved address**, and you keep it for the full rental period. It does **not** include kayak use, launch privileges, admission, or rental services at Lovers Key State Park or any other Matt’s Beach Shack staffed concession location. If you would like to kayak from one of our staffed locations, please book the appropriate location-specific kayak rental under that location’s booking tab. **Your rental gives you the kayak. Where you take the adventure is up to you.**
